Home and dry

COVID-19, or Coronavirus continues to affect businesses and individuals .Despite the disruption, MGL Media continues to adapt to help our customers deliver their message. We also want to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.

We have several projects currently in post-production, so we’ve shifted our edit suites away from our central office. Home working ensures we can continue to create our award-winning video content while keeping socially distanced and safe.

In the short term, new measures mean filming new material at premises and with groups of staff may be impractical. However, by using a small crew of one or two people, we can capture key messages from individuals perfect for CEO updates or health and safety announcements. When a specific message or wording is key, a teleprompter system can also be added to the set-up.

Filming responsibly through COVID-19

We will be following government guidelines, maintaining safe distances and ensuring proper hygiene is followed at all times. Our crew will always have hand sanitiser on location. Our lenses and extendable boom poles to record sound at distance lets us to limit our proximity to the person being filmed.

When filming isn’t an option

If new filming isn’t practical or desired, we have a range of other options available such as using stock footage and simple graphics. With existing clients we can revisit their archive material and re-edit to form a new video narrative. We have offsite voice over recording facilities and can also produce audio content, like podcasts and business updates.
