Richard The Third and Everards #MyHome campaign – the subjects for two of our recent films.
Much of our work is nationwide. However over the recent months we’ve been fortunate enough to produce a number of projects based in our home town of Leicester. Since the discovery of the remains of King Richard III in a local car park, we’ve seen a surge of interest in our city. This resulted in a series of events to mark the reburial of the monarch at Leicester Cathedral.
Big Difference Company commissioned MGL Media to create a film to showcase the ‘Leicester Glows’ event. This featured the lighting of more than 8000 flames to mark the re-internment of the King. It was an honour to be involved in the celebrations and to be able to produce a film that captured the magical atmosphere of the evening.
Why do YOU love your home town?
Earlier in the year, as part of Everards’ #MyHome campaign, we were asked to create a film to reflect some of the reasons that Leicester people love their home town. A song was commissioned from local composer, George Odom and paired with a series of iconic Leicester faces and places.
We love to film far and wide, but absence makes the heart grow fonder. It’s been rewarding to work on a number of projects that show why Leicester is an up and coming city that’s worth celebrating. What do you love about your home town? What makes your city, project or business stand out?
Talk to us to see how we can help your message get the attention it deserves.
